Sabine Homestead 2018

When Gayle was very young, she spent many happy hours 'up in the hills' with her grandparents at their homestead.   There are many smells and sounds that still remind her of her time there.  In the mid-'60's, her grandparents moved to live in a house on her parent's farm and visiting them became much different.   The homestead gradually disintegrated.  We took these photos in 2018 just prior to the time when all the buildings were removed and the land converted to farm/pasture land.
